Emmanuel Mejia Mar 3 , 09 Period 2/3 BECKY ESSAY By ME The name of the story we read was named “Beck and theWheels and Brake boy” by James Berry. The story is about a girl named Becky that wants a bike ,but she cant get one until the end. Becky is a credible character. She shows that she through what she fells ,says ,and does. Becky is believable because she want to fit with other children. “ Can somebody teach me to ride?” Becky said. They all have bikes and know how to ride so she want to ride with them. This prove that she is a believable character because most kids want to be in a club or a group . Another reason that proves that Becky is credible is because she begs her mom again and again. This is true because all the kids I know beg there moms for what ever they want. As Becky sais “ over and over I told my mom I wanted a bike.” Some kids in order to get what she wants, Becky thinks she has to ask a couple of times to get she wants. This shows Becky is believeable because almost all kids love begging there parentsto get what they want. Finally another reason that Becky is a credible chapter is because she always fought with her friend . as an example Becky thinks ,” for the first time me and Shirnet had a real fight because of what I hated most .” Shirnet wanted to get back at Beckybecause Becky had put a centipede up her shirt ,so she got even by putting a cockroach in Becks blues. This proves that Becky is believable because mostfriends fight and usually make up. In conclusion , Becky, the main character in “ Becky And The Wheels And The Brakes,” is believable because of her emotions’ ,words, and actions. That means that she is a average child.
